Unleash the beast! Go faux crocodile with Strapa’s Crocodilus Apple Watch band
Shiny new Apple Watch? Why not deck it out with a classy leather Apple Watch band — the Crocodilus band from Strapa, available in the Cult of Mac Apple Watch store?
Strapa’s Crocodilus band is luxurious and timeless, and we filmed an unboxing video to give you a closer look at the band. Don’t worry — no crocodiles were harmed in the production of this strap!
Durable leather Apple Watch band
Strapa’s motto is super simple. The company believes in crafting Apple Watch bands that are rugged, simple, durable, and timeless. Honestly, my first impression of this band fit all of that and more. The Crocodilus band is super impressive right out of the box.
Strapa makes its $129 Crocodilus band from top-grade Italian calfskin leather, and embosses it with a beautiful crocodile skin design. The production of this band is top-quality; it’s a band that will not disappoint. Check out the video above!
The design is simple and the band is very durable. The strap has a smooth leather backing, which gives it a luxurious feel. It is stitched with a tough linen thread, which helps prevent the leather from stretching and morphing even after months of wear.
Hardware options
Strapa has two options for the color of the buckle and adapters, and two different finishes. You can choose between silver or black hardware, and a matte or polished finish. The matte buckle (pictured) is best for the aluminum Apple Watch Sport models; while the polished buckle is a better match for the stainless steel Apple Watches.
Strapa puts a lot of attention into their buckle designs to ensure that they aren’t sharp and won’t damage the leather of the band.
It’s pretty clear that Strapa is all about artisanal design and craftsmanship. The company’s passionate attention to detail speaks for itself.
You can purchase the Strapa Crocodilus Watch Band for $129 at our Watch Store. Like all of Strapa’s bands, the Crocodilus is compatible with the Apple Watch Series 4.
