This handmade Apple Watch band is a true triple threat [Watch Store]

In a tiny workshop in Austin, Texas, one of my all-time-favorite leather straps for Apple Watch is made carefully by hand. The Triple Tour Band by Arrow & Board is a “split” version of the ubiquitous Double Tour strap — popularized by the beautiful albeit monstrously-priced Hermès version.

The Triple Tour is made by Arrow & Board, a small, family-owned company formed in response to what they saw as the scores of mass-produced, low-quality leather accessories on the market today. What started as a hobby of hand-stitching items like wallets, small bags and watch straps has now become a full-time business, with Apple Watch straps being their best-sellers.

“Making leather goods with your own hands is an incredibly rewarding experience. We knew we could make an awesome watch strap that is made with our core values — made in the USA, handcrafted, and meant to last,” says Zackary Brown, owner and product designer for Arrow & Board.

Three ways to wear

The Triple Tour is a super-versatile way to accessorize Apple Watch and can be worn three ways: double-sided on one side of the wrist (left or right) or double-sided between the watch face. More leather, more ways to wear it, at a fraction of the cost of Hermès.

This leather Apple Watch strap is made-to-order from a solid piece of vegetable-tanned, English bridle full-grain leather, which is a smooth, flexible and very durable material. Expect this watch band to age and patina beautifully over time.

The leather is hand-stitched with waxed polyester thread, which is stronger and more weather-resistant than nylon. All of Arrow & Board’s leather is directly sourced from Wickett & Craig, one of the oldest operating tanneries in the United States.

This strap is available in tan, medium brown and black leather. Choose from a variety of hardware options to match your Apple Watch: stainless steel, black/gray, silver aluminum, gold aluminum and rose gold aluminum. The band comes in small and medium/large wrist sizes, and both 38 mm and 42 mm Apple Watch sizes.

I love this strap for its versatility, beauty, high-quality and price. Expect a week or more for delivery, as each band is made to order. Remember to enter code at checkout for 10 percent discount: Arrow&Board2017

Love the band

Sent the wrong one, twice

Never even got the right case for my phone. I got sent the same case twice, not even the case for my phone.

Good morning Rebbecca, I apologize for this. I have checked my system and cannot see any correspondence with you regarding this. Please email me adel@cultofmac.com with the case you actually received, so I can get this sorted for you? Many thanks, Adel.

Great band

My hubby loves the feel and color of the bands

Not impressed

No real easy way to attach cables to it. Also, can't easily use Qi charging for iPhone... The bamboo wood part of it is nice though, even if not very useful. I bought this as an experiment to see how it would work out. Having to actually plug the iPhone cable in to the phone is not what I would call convenient. This will probably end up as a paper weight.
