Best List: Nomad Sport Strap for Apple Watch

Nomad, maker of minimalist, practical accessories for Apple Watch and iPhone, just dropped its slick, new Sport Strap. At $50, it’s a cool alternative to the similarly priced Nike Sport Bands by Apple.

With the intention of creating a silicone strap designed to “withstand the stresses of all forms of sport and exercise,” Nomad has succeeded — the Sport Strap is a strong, lightweight, sweat- and water-resistant band that is also-super comfortable on the wrist.

A high-performance Apple Watch band

Nomad’s Sport Strap is made from high-grade vulcanized LSR silicone, a supremely strong material that offers great benefits to its active wearer. The vulcanization process ensures the silicone will withstand higher temperatures. Silicone is also water-repellant and resistant to ultraviolet rays — allowing the strap to be exposed to the elements while maintaining its sheen and strength long-term.

This high-performance Apple Watch band is built to withstand sweat, sun and surf for all-season sports enthusiasts. Silicone is also great for those with sensitive skin as it’s a natural, biocompatible and hypoallergenic material. No itchy wrists here!

Comfortable for any activity

Nomad took no shortcuts with the comfort level of this band: the silicone is not only lightweight, but also incredibly soft and smooth for a super-comfy wrist fit. A cool cross-hatched design on the strap’s surface adds a bit of sleek, sporty style to any outfit.

The strap’s high-performance polyamide buckle will withstand any outdoor conditions. And, the outer strap itself is concealed under a well-designed opening in the adjoining piece of silicone adding to the strap’s minimalist and sporty approach. It’s completely functional.
