Clever case makes carrying Apple Watch and its essentials easy [Watch Store]

Traveling with Apple Watch is a fairly simple affair: strap on your watch and go.

Traveling with all the extra accessories, however, is a serious pain in the butt. There’s that 6-foot charging cable, for one, which always manages to get tangled up in my bag. Add extra Apple Watch bands and a wall plug, and you’ve got some serious carry, and we haven’t even mentioned dealing with the watch when you aren’t wearing it.

Twelve South has an answer to this conundrum, and it’s called TimePorter. Now available for purchase from our Watch Store.

Essentially a sunglasses case kitted out for your precious wrist computer, TimePorter has several delightful features that will let you gather and transport your essential Apple Watch accessories when you travel.

There’s a hole in the top of the case that nestles the round part of the Apple Watch charging cable, letting the charging part face outward. When you’re not using the charging circle, there’s a soft, silicone cap that closes the case up for travel.

You can drape your Apple Watch across this magnetic circle in either direction. If you drape it horizontally and then open the top part of the case, you’ll enable the nightstand function on your Apple Watch, letting the case become integral to your sleep/wake routine while on the road.

Inside organization

timeporter
TimePorter holds your charging cable, an extra watch band, your USB charger and more in a neatly designed, silicone-lined case.

Inside the TimePorter is a soft, silicone molding in which to wrap around that long USB cable once you’ve installed it in the hole above. The cable is kept in place with various clips, knobs, and cable pass-throughs that let you pull out enough cable to charge your Apple Watch on the case itself, connecting to a wall plug that easily fits in the central well of the TimePorter’s interior.

timeporterYou can also drop in a couple of extra Apple Watch bands for when you’re feeling the urge to swap out your current band for a night on the town or a quick run before breakfast. Heck, if you have a little portable USB charger battery, drop that right in there and connect the Apple Watch charging cable to it for some juice when away from a wall plug. Camping, anyone?

All in all, the TimePorter is a streamlined-looking, functional Apple Watch accessory case. It lets you manage all the stuff you need to keep your Apple Watch functioning on vacation or business trips. TimePorter slips into a bag easily, thanks to the sunglasses-case size and shape, and will really add to your Apple Watch management game.

Nice band. Worked well. Need to be sure to watch the video on using the tool to adjust the band.

I contacted the store but they never replayed to me i don't recommend to buy here!

Not only is this iWatch such a practical means of holding my watch while charging, it’s a hoot - looks like my original Mac. I love it.

The case doesn’t totally align but it does it’s job. The part that stinks is that it attracts lint and dust because it’s silicone.

Great tidy solution

You know what happens, all your devices need a charger. 2 iPhones, an Apple Watch, iPad and more. My old solution was fast charger with 4 USB outlets plugged in to an outlet in the kitchen. Worked, but not pretty.

Let me start by saying this charger looks great. I got rid of all the other cables and keep this out in the kitchen. Much tidier! Phones charge quickly. Apple watch does too but you to be careful that it goes on right. Also, I have a metal band on mine so I have to close it before I put it on the stand or else it would rest on the screen of the phone below it.
