The Tanok Nylon Band is a fun multicolored, tribal pattern with matching stitching. Nyloon has crafted a single durable Apple Watch nylon band with a comfortable, fabric-like feel.
Despite its bohemian looks, the original NATO strap was designed by the British Ministry of Defense in 1973 to be worn over or under clothing, such as a flight or wetsuit, and to keep the buckle away from the underside of the wrist to prevent it catching on clothing or weapons.
Early adopters of the NATO strap were attracted to its usefulness. Nyloon has taken this into account in designing its straps to offer a seamless blend of form, function and fashion. Made with ballistic-grade nylon that’s thicker and tougher than ordinary polyester bands, Nyloon’s straps are built to withstand the most adverse weather conditions.

Originating in Spain, Nyloon was acquired by two best friends, Tesha and Ant, who were raised in military town, Fayetteville, NC. NATO bands resonated with the friends who found the tenacity of nylon to be the perfect material to work with for two creative military brats.
A note about band lengths:
We recommend you measure your wrist's circumference in order to assure a good fit.
- The “Regular” band’s length is 235 mm (9.25 inches) with the Apple Watch attached with 10 holes. It fits wrist sizes 5.5 inches to 8.5 inches.
- The “XL” band's length is 270 mm (10.6 inches) with the Apple Watch attached and 10 holes. It fits wrists sizes 6.5 inches to 9.25 inches.
- The "XXL" band’s length is 295 mm (11.6 inches) with the Apple Watch attached with 10 holes. It fits wrist sizes 9 inches. to 10.5 inches.
