Twelve South new iPad Pro is a Creative Pro’s dream. Now, meet its easel. The completely redesigned Compass Pro is a versatile all-metal folding stand that holds your iPad at three different angles. Use Compass Pro as a hands-free display stand, an interactive desktop or a typing/sketching wedge. With Sidecar coming for Macs + iPads this Fall, Compass becomes your mobile SideCar display and sketch stand as well!

Compass Pro isn’t just for hands-free use. When it’s time work, Compass Pro tilts iPad to a more natural typing and sketching angle. Work more comfortably for longer anywhere you go - hotels, on a plane or coffee shop. Speaking of the coffee shop, do you really want to set your expensive iPad on a sticky, messy counter? This little stand helps keep your iPad up and away from dirty surfaces.

  • Super-stable metal design supports iPad, iPad mini and iPad Pro - perfect for Sidecar to hold your iPad next to your Mac
  • Soft silicone protects your iPad from scratches
  • The second leg tilts iPad up to a more comfortable typing or sketching angle
  • Folds flat for complete portability and works with most iPad covers & cases

Almost perfect

This device is very nearly perfect. I love how small and portable it is, and that it’s one of the very few stands out there that allow for vertical / portrait use of an IPAD...

I have two things I’d love to change.
1. Make it so that the tilt wasn’t as laid back. This could be done by making the extendable leg stick out further, thus making the iPad stand more upright.
2. I LOVE using iPad in vertical mode and there are very few stands that allow for this style of working. I can use the stand in portrait mode however, if I want it to be plugged into power, then I have to invert the IPad because there’s not enough room underneath to leave the connector plugged in when being used vertically.
